The Ray family has been in Asheville since the 1930’s helping people who have lost loved ones.  In 1996 the Ray family purchased the business at their current location at 127 McDowell Street, thus creating Ray and Allen Funeral Service.  The photo on the left is of Bryant Baird, office manager and son of Jesse Ray, Jr.  It’s worth reading a bit of their history, which is Asheville’s history, and you can do that on their website: www.rayandallenfuneralservice.com.

This morning we received our first donation of flowers from a service that they held yesterday.  The flowers are quite fresh and beautiful and the generous donation will bring joy to many.  We’re very pleased to have Ray and Allen Funeral Service as one of our donors.
